The marker of your short life on earth

you are more than this stone

you are the laughter and love

you brought in your short life.

And the tears and the love

Held ever since.

you have always been loved and missed.

And we place this stone on your grave to tell friends and strangers

That your body lies here

This is your stone

May it sing of love for you today and tomorrow
